After last weeks outstanding performance at Sedgely Park (well done again) it was back into a normal training session at Gorton Street.
Due to the cold emphasis was placed on keeping the kids moving and warm rather than specifics with myself hobbling along and keeping up as best I could. It was also good to see all running about with broad smiles despite the weather.
Tyler seems to be the undoubted king of Heroes and Villains winning twice and tagging many. The instinctive rucks created in the numbers game at the end were impressive (and no moans from those on the bottom). Well done Lucas for the leg drive in a rolling maul, almost like a pro! Martin, when are we supposed to start full contact????????????
STAR OF THE WEEK, for drive, determination, enthusiasm, concentration and always being first to the ball (and at the bottom of the pile), goes to Sandy. Excellent session and well done.
Next week we have a home game against Heaton Moor. Official start time is 10:30 but please be early as we intend to get some warm ups going at 10:15. In addition, if parking is not allowed on the overflow car park then there will be little parking space available.
