  1. Phone for an ambulance to ‘Eccles rugby union club, Gorton Street, M30 7LY’
  2. If the ambulance is required on the field ensure the ‘ambulance access gate’ (near the astro pitch) is open and a pathway is clear through the car park.
  3. If the ambulance is required for the clubhouse or changing rooms ensure the main car park gate is open (it may be locked on First XV match days).

B. St. Pat’s School field

  2. Get the ‘Clandon Avenue gate key’ from behind the bar in the clubhouse.
  3. Unlock the gate on Clandon Avenue and wait there for the ambulance to arrive.

C. Pitches “through the tunnel”

  1. Phone for an ambulance to ‘Eccles rugby union club, Gorton Street, M30 7LY’
  2. Get the ‘Hallsworth Road gate key’ from behind the bar in the clubhouse.
  3. When the ambulance arrives, lead it around to Hallsworth Road, and through the bollards to the footpath to the pitches.
  4. If the ambulance wants to drive on to the pitch the same key will be needed again to open the pitch access gate.

During any of the above scenarios the injured player should be kept as warm and comfortable as possible while waiting for the ambulance. Blankets and towels are available from the Physio Room (in the changing rooms) in addition to the first aid supplies each team should already have.
