There you go, you think you’ve nailed it, a crazy weekend put to bed, then someone says, “oh! lets do it all again”. I wish some people would shut up, I say this whilst looking into a mirror, I might add.
This weekend we have the second team playing their last game of the season at Home to Wigan. KO 3:00. Maximum support from all the club is a must to ensure they get the result which will save them from the drop.
This will be followed by the screening (by popular request) of the annual Army v Navy match.
However before all that fun takes place, Eccles RFC are hosting a Junior Rugby Festival starting Saturday Morning. Actual start time to be confirmed, so keep an eye open for an update. However I am reliably informed it should finish by 2:00pm. This will see U12’s, U13’s & U14’s teams from around the country, and overseas (well acording to IRB regulations Scotland is classified as overseas) taking part in lots of fun and laughter.
Then on Sunday they all come back to have a 7’s Tournament. Isn’t life fun when you’re young and daft and filled with endless energy and enthusiasm.
Help will be needed for both days so don’t be shy, come down and lend a hand. If volunteers can not be found, a press gang will be dispatched and slaves will be obtained from the general club membership.
