Massive weekend of rugby ahead!

On Saturday 27th April, 15:00, the First XV will go head to head with Broughton Park for the chance to compete in Level 6 (North One West) next season. This would be a massive achievement for the club who had never played higher than Level 8 until a few seasons ago. But the task is sure to be a difficult one against a club that was relegated to this level just last year and have a enjoyed a relatively comfortable league campaign to finish second in South Lancs/Cheshire 1. We’d like as many supporters as possible to make the  short 20-minute trip to South Manchester (M21 7TL) to try and offset their home advantage.

Then on Sunday 28th April the club will host the Raging Bull Colts League Cup U17s Finals Day. Our own Junior Colts will be participating in the Vase final at 13:30, one of five games being played back-to-back. They face highly rated opposition in the form of Altrincham Kersal, but our boys will be feeling confident after playing out a thrilling 19-19 draw with similarly rated opponents yesterday. Volunteers are required to help the day run as smoothly as possible but there will certainly be time to cheer on our future stars when the time comes.

Let’s rally behind the club for some of the final fixtures of the season and see if we can have even more reason to celebrate at the end of season dinners.
