Junior Chairman’s Welcome Season 2010 – 2011

Eccles Junior and Mini-Section continues to go from strength to strength. This season we have teams from U7’s all the way up to U15 and including U15 girls. We have players from 5 years of age onwards with the emphasis on fun. We play tag rugby at U7 and U8 before we introduce more contact and a bigger playing area until eventually at U13 we are playing full on.

All our coaches are CRB checked and we have an independent Welfare Officer, Heather Thorpe, who ensures that your child’s wellbeing is paramount.

Coaches have taken the appropriate RFU courses to ensure that the kids are developed in the right environment.
 

Training for Juniors takes place on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 pm and games and training for Juniors and Minis take place on Sunday mornings at 10.00 am onwards. For further information and a friendly welcome see the Contacts list for each age group.
