Sunday the girls were ready for Rugby (although all a little tired). We set off in convoy to Nant Conway, where we arrived in full force. The games were all very close, the girls gave them a run for their money, with the U 15’s securing a victory, but sadly the other two teams were defeated. We were thanked by the Conway Rugby coaches for giving such skilled & talented rugby matches at all 3 levels. A return match was mentioned for next season on our home turf, which we all will look forward too.
What an eventful & Fantastic weekend away, Trev / Faye / Declan took on the task of taking the U13’s / U15’s / U18’s away, with a little help from a couple of Mum’s & Dad’s. The sun was shining on arrival on Friday evening, so it was off over the sand dunes and into the sea for most of girls , then a spot of Touch rugby before Trev rustled up his magic on the BBQ , so Sausages and Burgers all round !
Saturday morning was also glorious and part of the party went on a DofE walk around Prestatyn, taking in the beautiful waterfall, where they pitched up for lunch, before heading back, the reminding party went for a stroll along the beach to Rhyl to explore. The afternoon brought on, some team building activities with memory games, tug of war and even a spot of rounders to name but a few.
