The third league fixture of the season and the thirds haven’t as yet achieved a win but managed to snatch a draw with a Jack Walton penalty in the final action of the match. A curates egg of a performance for whilst Eccles dominated viagra sale possession and territory ,being dominant in the scrum with four strikes against the head they never looked like breaking down a well organised visitors defence and had to rely on five penalties from Walton to salvage the points. Contrastlingly Park who edged the proceedings in the loose made the most of their limited opportunities to convert the only three chances that fell to them into tries fortunately unconverted.Under the charge of skipper Gary Hamer returning to helm at scrum half after helping out the twos the team saw a few changes in the pack with a couple of debutants in Sam Nicholls and Welsh prop Huw Ohri alongside returnees fellow leel muncher Paul Newton, Paul Fleming , Jacob Henderson and Dan Thomas .Much to the surprise of the spectators Eccles dominated the early exchanges but fell behind on the visitors first attack through inexperience as a clearance kick behind their own line was charged down for a simple score. Eccles continued to press with debutant winger Rafi catching the eye with his speed and forceful running creating potential chances which in the end came to nought and once more the thirds were caught with a sucker punch a move broke down and the Park right wing sped 50 metres to score in the corner. Walton notched two penalties to Eccles in touch at 10- 6 adrift at the interval. The second half was a virtual mirror image of the first with Eccles doing most of the attacking but failing to break down the resolute Park cover though Walton edged the thirds to within a point with penalty the visitors responded with a try from the front of a line out.A tense finish saw Eccles salvage a share of the spoils with two more Walton penalties the last bringing the match to a close.
