Clubhouse open on Saturday

For those with nothing to do, for those with lots to do but can’t be bothered doing it, or those who just want to avoid shopping with The Mrs, the last refuge of civilisation, otherwise known as Eccles RFC, will be open from 1:00pm to offer refreshments and viewing of the deciding One Day’er between England and new Zealand.

Note for all, it would appear that the Grounds & Pavilion committee are up to one of two things in the clubhouse.  Either they have watched far too many repeats of “The Great Escape” and are digging their own tunnel (Wilson, Brunt & Sheldon spring to mind) or they’ve heard the rumour about the buried gold under the clubhouse left by the club’s founder members.  If you want to know more, I’ll see you on Saturday.

About mparkinson

Before I started on my quest of world domination I was a part time dress maker, specialising in the larger woman.

To succed in my aim of world domination my first plan is to cause social unrest and panic through subliminal messages in my match reports, so reader beware.

During my long journey of life I have caused havoc in many lands, Geordie land, Cockney land and now Manc land. And this is without mentioning what I got up to in foreign rugby tours to USA, Canada, Holland, Hungary, Ireland & Wales.
